Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance
Accidents happen! According to the National Safety Council, they are the leading cause of death for those under age 45, and among the leading causes of death for people of all ages. You cannot foresee accidental death, but you can protect your loved ones & your family financially with Starmount Accidental Death Insurance. Both Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage protect your family's financial security in the event of premature death. However, there are some basic differences between the plans.
Both pay a benefit if you die; however, AD&D only pays if the cause of death is accidental. AD&D normally costs less because the incidence of an accidental death is lower than that of death from natural causes. AD&D also pays benefits when an accident results in the loss of a limb.
